A mobile car wash means the wash team comes to your car instead of you driving to a car wash. In Riyadh, with long weekend queues at car washes and dust that comes back within days, it has become the easiest option for many people. You set the location and time, the team arrives with its equipment, and your car is clean without you leaving home or the office.
How does a mobile car wash work?
- You order in the app and set where the car is and when suits you.
- The team arrives on time with all its equipment and products.
- The body is washed, then dried with soft cloths that avoid scratches.
- Depending on the service you chose, the paint is polished and a protective layer is added.
- You check the car when they finish, and follow the whole order in the app.
What does car care include?
car care covers washing, polishing and protection. The team brings all its equipment to your home or office at the time you choose, so all you need to provide is a suitable spot for the car. The price appears in the app before you confirm.
| Service | What it means | When you need it |
|---|---|---|
| Wash | Removing dust and dirt from the body, glass and wheels | Regularly, especially after dust storms |
| Polish | Bringing back the paint's shine and hiding light surface scratches | When the paint looks dull or fine lines appear |
| Protection | A layer that shields the paint from sun and dust and makes the next wash easier | After polishing, and before summer |
Why do people in Riyadh choose a mobile wash?
Time, mostly: there is no queue at a car wash and no drive there and back. The car is washed where it is parked at home or work while you get on with your day. And the team works on your car alone, so it never goes through machine brushes used on dozens of cars a day.
What should you prepare before the team arrives?
Make sure the team can get all the way around the car, and take any valuable personal items out of it. If the car is in a building or compound car park, ask the management in advance whether washing is allowed there. If you want something specific, such as extra attention on the wheels or a particular mark, tell the team when they arrive.
How often does your car need washing?
Dust builds up fast in Riyadh, and leaving it on the paint under a hot sun makes it harder to remove. The right frequency depends on where the car is parked and how it is used.
